About me
Mindfulness teaching and practice are my vocation in life. I love seeing how mindfulness helps people transform anxious, stressed lives into feeling calmer, more in control and more joyful.
I started practicing mindfulness in 1997 and was instantly struck by how much better I felt day to day. I started teaching in 2008 and it is now my full-time job. I teach 8-week Mindfulness and Self-Compassion courses at The Mindfulness Project, teach mindfulness in the workplace for Journey Live, am a top coach with recordings and live sessions for the Aura app, and am running Mindfulness in Nature Safaris at Knepp Wildland. Everywhere I teach, Iām touched by how much benefit people get from these simple practices that give me so much support in my life too.
I completed my MSc in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy in 2013 at Exeter University. In 2014 I started to supervise other teachers for Mindfulness Network and in 2017 started to assist on teacher training programmes for Sussex Mindfulness Centre. In 2022 I completed Certification for teaching Mindful Self Compassion Courses. I follow the Good Practice Guidelines and am fully insured and supervised and engage in ongoing professional development.
